Extra Time
Extra Time is an Educational Programme created by Faith and Football to help underachieving readers in Infant Schools. All the reading material is based on Bible stories. Each child on the Scheme is allocated a Christian Mentor who spends quality one-to-one time with them each week for a whole academic year.
As well as raising reading standards and motivation to read at both home and school the Scheme looks at the Bible to demonstrate to the children how to be a good friend, to stop bullying and to love others.
Football Leagues
Faith and Football organises 13 inner-city Community 6-a-side Leagues in Portsmouth, Birmingham and Plymouth. Some Christian professional footballers support the leagues, Linvoy Primus, Darren Moore & Rory Fallon.
These Leagues offer Faith and Football the opportunity to provide positive role models in an encouraging environment promoting inclusion for all and a healthy and active lifestyle.
